Hope you had a wonderful Saturday.
When the Stampin' Up! January to June Catalog came out, the Handsomely Suited and Suit and Dies definitely caught my eye. I always struggle for masculine card.
I had the opportunity this week to try my hand at making a suit card. There were some struggles but I figured quite a few things out.
Here's the card I created:
So what do you think? I am not sure if I did the edge of the lapel correctly. When I started putting the card together, I wanted to do something different than white on white for the collar. Are you wondering how I made the insert for the collar? I took a piece of sahara sand cardstock and colored it with the ivory blend marker. I think it gives it a nice touch.
I hope in the next few weeks to a plaid shirt out of the dies as well. I can think of a few guys that I need to a card to just to let them know I am thinking of them.
